# Ignored URLs

Ignored URLs are skipped in every scan. A page ends up here in two ways:

- You chose **Ignore** for it on the Reports tab, for example a thank-you page you do not care about.
- Google could not load it. The plugin adds it here so it does not fail again on every scan, and shows a notice.

## Bring a page back

Fix whatever stopped Google from loading the page, then click **Reactivate** next to it. It is checked again right away. Common reasons a page fails:

- The page needs a login or sits behind a password.
- It redirects to another page, or returns a 404 or 500 error.
- A firewall or security plugin blocks Google’s servers.
- The site is in maintenance or coming soon mode.

You can test any URL on [pagespeed.web.dev](https://pagespeed.web.dev/) to see the exact error Google gets.

## Remove from the list

**Remove** takes a URL off the list. WordPress pages and posts are then checked again on the next scan. A custom URL that was removed from the list stays in your custom URLs.
