# Missing converted files

Pixavif found images marked as converted whose AVIF or WebP files are gone. This happens when a site is moved or restored from a backup that did not include `wp-content/uploads-pixavif`, or when the folder was deleted by hand or by a cleanup tool.

 
  
**Info**Your pages are safe. When the folder is missing, Pixavif serves your original images. In rewrite mode the server already falls back to the original file.

## When moving a site

 

Copy `wp-content/uploads-pixavif` together with `wp-content/uploads`. Migration plugins that only copy the uploads folder leave it out; in that case, run Repair library on the new site.
