# Store-wide settings

Everything under **WooCommerce → Settings → Quantity & Pricing**. Values here are the base every product inherits; category, product, variation and role rules override individual fields.

 

## General

 
 

| Setting | What it does | Default |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Default minimum quantity | Smallest quantity a shopper can add. `0` = no minimum. | 0 |
| Default maximum quantity | Largest quantity per order line. `0` = no maximum. Stock is always respected on top of this. | 0 |
| Default step / group of | Quantities must be multiples of this, counted from the minimum. `6` → 6, 12, 18… | 1 |
| Default pre-filled quantity | Value shown in the field before the shopper touches it. Blank = WooCommerce default. | 0 |

 
 

## Front-end behaviour

 
 

| Setting | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| Quantity stepper | Adds +/- buttons that move by the step and stop at min/max. |
| Replace theme stepper | Turn on only if your theme’s own +/- buttons ignore the step. |
| Live inline guidance | Shows the hint and live validation under the quantity field. |
| Shop / archive “Add to cart” | *Add the minimum valid quantity* (default) or *Link to the product page instead*. |
| Validate AJAX add-to-cart | Keep on. Validates grid and carousel buttons server-side. |

 
 
  
**Warning**Turning off *Validate AJAX add-to-cart* does not turn off validation in the cart or checkout: those are always enforced.
 
 

## Advanced

 
 

| Setting | Use when |
| --- | --- |
| Hook priorities | Another plugin also filters quantity args, validation or prices and you need to run before/after it. Higher number = later. |
| Load assets everywhere | Your theme renders add-to-cart forms on pages the plugin does not recognise (landing pages, page builders). |
| Delete data on uninstall | You want all rules and settings removed when the plugin is deleted. Off by default. |
