Catalog mode decides who sees prices and the Add to Cart button. Everything lives under **WooCommerce > Settings > Quotes & Catalog**.

## The basics

- **Enable Catalog Mode** turns the feature on for your store.
- **Hide Product Prices** removes the price. **Custom Price Text** replaces it with a message such as “Call us for pricing”.
- **Hide Add to Cart** removes the button and shows Request a Quote instead.
- **Disable Cart & Checkout** blocks direct access to the cart and checkout pages. Order payment links from your quotes keep working.

## Choose where it applies

Set **Catalog Mode Scope** to the whole store, or to chosen categories, tags or products. You can also exclude products, and give guests, customers and custom roles their own rules. To override a single product, open it in the product editor and choose Global Rule, Always Quote or Always Sellable.

## Switch to quote mode automatically

Under **Automatic Conditions** you can turn on quote mode for products with no price, out of stock or on backorder. Under **Quote Button** you can also set a quantity threshold, so a product sells normally until a customer asks for a large amount.

**Info**Testing your rules? Keep **Administrator Exemption** off to see exactly what visitors see, or use a private window. The admin bar shows a small Qtyra note explaining why a product looks the way it does.
