Getting started with Qtyra Quantity Rules & Tiered Pricing

Qtyra Quantity Rules & Tiered Pricing adds minimum, maximum, step and default quantity rules to WooCommerce and enforces them on every path to the cart — the product page, the shop grid, carousels, the block cart and checkout, and the Store API. Pro adds quantity-based pricing and wholesale tooling.

Requirements

Minimum
WordPress 6.2
WooCommerce 7.1 (tested up to 11.1)
PHP 7.4

Works with classic and block themes, the Cart & Checkout blocks, HPOS and the product block editor.

Install the free version

1

In your WordPress admin go to Plugins → Add New and search for Qtyra Quantity Rules & Tiered Pricing.

2

Click Install Now, then Activate.

3

On the screen that appears choose Allow & Continue (recommended — you get security and update notices) or Skip. Either way the plugin works fully.

4

You land on WooCommerce → Settings → Quantity & Pricing. That is home.

Info: Already bought Pro? Skip the free version and go straight to Activating your Pro licence — the Pro build contains everything.

Your first rule in 60 seconds

1

WooCommerce → Settings → Quantity & Pricing → General. Set Default minimum quantity to 2 and Default step to 2. Save.

2

Open any product on the front end. The quantity field now starts at 2, the +/- buttons move in twos, and a hint under the field reads “Minimum order: 2 · Sold in multiples of 2”.

3

Type 3 and press Add to cart. It is refused with a clear message — on the product page, in the block cart, and even if the request is sent directly to the Store API.
