Two plugins that both create and serve WebP or AVIF images do the same work twice, double the disk use, and can send visitors a file from the wrong plugin. Keep one plugin in charge of modern formats.
| Plugin | What to do |
|---|---|
| WebP Express, Converter for Media, Modern Image Formats | They do the same job as Pixavif. Keep one and deactivate the other. Deactivating removes their rules; their files can be deleted from their settings. |
| Optimole | Serves images from its own CDN, so Pixavif files are not used. Keep one of them. |
| EWWW, Imagify, ShortPixel, Smush, TinyPNG, Image Optimizer | Their compression works well with Pixavif. Turn off only their WebP or AVIF conversion and delivery option. |
| LiteSpeed Cache | Works with Pixavif. If Image Optimization → WebP replacement is on, turn it off. |
After the change, clear your page cache and run the Pixavif delivery test. You can dismiss the notice on the Overview once you have checked the other plugin’s settings.
